The Daisies Set
|
Daisies are members of the Composite family. They each have a distinctive center or "button" with seed patterns arranged in swirls or spirals. Some have radial petals like Sunflower and Shasta Daisy, while some have no petals, like Tansy, Wormwood or Santolina. This family of flowers has a distinct and specific mission as flower essences as each affects the third chakra in a specific manner. The third chakra has two specific functions. First, it is the center, which radiates will forces. This is where the individual projects, externalizes or performs. Thinking, planning, organizing and doing all happen within the realm of this energy center. The second function is an assembly function. This center collects or assembles information from all of the other centers into what we experience as an ego, identity or individuality. The composite family, as flower essences, assist in both of these functions. The mental aspect of the third chakra also makes it an ideal way to treat a number of fears. Here, fears that have made their way into the system through damage to the first chakra are handled through the ability of the mind to rationalize. These essences therefore will strengthen the ability of the mental body to protect the individual from fears.
